One of Moynalvey GFC’s finest clubmen Jimmy Weldon passed away last Sunday 14th October.

Holding positions such as team selector and committee member throughout the years, Jimmy was one of our Club’s Honorary Presidents over the last decade or so up until the time of his death.

Jimmy was steeped in GAA tradition, in 2003 he received a Sean Gael Award from Meath GAA, marking the achievements of GAA members who had given a lifetime of service to the Association.

A proud Moynalvey supporter, nothing gave him more pleasure than to see his grandsons Paul & James lining out in the maroon & white jersey.

Jimmy will be sadly missed by all his family & friends.

Funeral arrangements for Jimmy are as follows:

Reposing at William Ryan & Sons Funeral Home, Church St., Kilcock ( W23 XC90) on Wednesday from 4pm to 7pm.Removal at 7.30pm to the Church of the Nativity, Moynalvey arriving at 8pm.

Funeral Mass at 11am on Thursday morning followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
