Seneschalstown 2-15 Dunsany 0-07
Seneschalstown recorded an easy 14 point win over Dunsany in the Junior C football championship played in ideal conditions at Skryne.
The winners got off to a good start with quick points from play from Dylan Doyle and Eoin Finnegan. Finnegan and Paul Garry extended the lead before Dunsany replied with 3 unanswered points. The on form Finnegan got in for the games first goal just before the break, following a great run from the 45 yard line, to give Seneschalstown a 1-7 to 0-4 interval lead.
Colin Lynch extended the lead with the opening point of the second half. Dunsany replied but Finnegan raised four white flags in a row to give the Yellow Furze men complete control. Dylan Doyle found the back of the Dunsany net midway through the half as Seneschalstown went on to record a comfortable victory.
