Ladies U14 Div 6B: Michaels push Ratoath all the way

St. Michaels 3-3, Ratoath 3-10                                                                                    

A brave St. Michaels side pushed a strong Ratoath side all the way in this entertaining league match played in Ratoath on Sunday morning.

Two goals in the opening nine minutes gave St. Michaels an early lead however the home side fought back and levelled the match on 19 minutes and they got through for their second major a minute later. Ciara Finnegan pulled a point back but Ratoath pointed again for a 2-4 to 2-1 interval lead.

Brioch Meehan opened the St. Michaels second half scoring with a point and although Claire Reilly goaled and added a further point there was no stopping Ratoath as they stretched their lead to win with 7 points to spare.
