Navan O'Mahonys first and second teams recorded good wins in the opening round of the All County Hurling Leagues
Division 2 HL
Kilskyre/Moylagh 1-9 - 3-11 Navan O Mahonys
O Mahonys started off this years campaign with a hard fought victory in Moylagh on Sunday morning. Played in soggy conditions the result was never really in doubt after 1st half goals from Mikey Kelly and Conor Fitzpatrick. A 2nd 3 pointer from Kelly early in the second period gave the home side too much to do. Best for the victors were Conor Cullen, Sean Smyth, Jack Walsh who scored 6 from play John Foley and Kelly.

Division 3 HL
Navan O Mahonys 2-15 1-13 Kiltale
Last years Division 4 winners O Mahonys made the step up to Division 3 with an encouraging win against Kiltale in Navan on Saturday afternoon.
In an entertaining game the victors were ahead throughout and led by 2-11-1-7 at half time. Both goals coming from the influential John Foley.
In a second period where scores were harder to come by the Navan men's 7 point lead was never seriously threatened. Best for O Mahonys were Conor Cullen, Ciaran McGuinness, Gavin Fox and Foley.
