Four nominees have been put forward to fill the position of Mayo minor football manager.

Following Enda Gilvarry's decision to step down from the role after four years, the Mayo County Board have begun the process of finding a successor.

Kiltimagh's Tomas Morley, Damien Gavin (Swinford), Martin McIntyre (Belmullet) and Charlestown Sarsfields manager Paul Jordan have all let their names go forward.

All four will be interviewed next week before the preferred candidate is put forward for ratification.

There is no surprise that Michael Solan is staying on as Mayo under-21 football manager after he guided the county to All-Ireland success this year.
