Deegan and Lane appointed to SFC quarter-finals

Cork's Brian O'Driscoll is black carded by referee Maurice Deegan

The GAA have confirmed that Maurice Deegan and Conor Lane will referee this Sunday's All-Ireland SFC quarter-finals at Croke Park.

Laois whistler Deegan will take charge of the all Munster clash between Kerry and Clare at 2pm, while Cork's Lane has been handed the whistle for the meeting of Connacht champions Galway and Liam Kearns' Tipperary (throw-in 4pm).

Saturday will see the last of the qualifiers being played at the same venue between Cork and Donegal (throw-in 4pm) followed by Mayo and Westmeath (throw-in 6pm), with Roscommon's Paddy Neilan and Rory Hickey of Clare having been appointed to those games, respectively.
