Mayo defender Kevin Keane will have a scan on his shoulder injury this week.

Keane was forced off during the All-Ireland SFC qualifier win over Kildare at MacHale Park last Saturday evening.

And the Westport defender injured the same shoulder that kept him out of most of the Connacht side's league campaign.

It is feared he may have aggravated the same injury, which was a rotator cuff problem that saw him sidelined for a number of months.

Mayo play Westmeath in the next round of the qualifiers at Croke Park on Saturday week, July 31^st.
