Preparations please Donnellan

Moycullen manager Michael Donnellan has revealed that they have a clean bill of health ahead of their Connacht club IFC final against Mayo's Hollymount/Carramore on Sunday.

This will be their toughest test to date when they take on the Mayo champions and Donnellan admitted to the Connacht Tribune that they know they are in for a hard match.

"They (Hollymount) perform at a very high level in Mayo. They are definitely a step up in class from anything we have played up to now," said Donnellan.

"They are Division 1 in the Mayo senior league, I think and I think they are unbeaten in that.

"They won the Mayo championship pretty comfortably. They are a good rural traditional side with a lot of families playing - the Feericks, the Costellos and the Coens. They are very strong and they play a similar enough type game as ourselves. They play with a lot of power and a lot of pace."
