M.Donnolly Interprovincial Wheelchair Hurling League - Round 3
Teams: Connacht, Munster, Ulster & Leinster.
Venue: Breaffy Sports Arena
Time: 11am until 2pm.

The Breaffy House Sports Arena near Castlebar will host the third round of the All-Ireland M.Donnolly Interprovincial Wheelchair Hurling League on Saturday 17th October. It will be the first time that an All-Ireland Wheelchair Hurling event will be hosted in Mayo. Connacht GAA are hosts of the event with travelling teams from Ulster, Munster, Leinster and hosts Connacht competing on the day.

The All-Ireland Interprovincial Wheelchair Hurling League and Championships were formed in 2013 and provide a competitive sporting environment for wheelchair users. The competition has gone from strength to strength in the past two seasons with the provincial councils providing the platform for the players to compete.

This year so far in the Interprovincial Wheelchair Hurling League, blitzes have been hosted in Monaghan (Ulster) and Carlow (Leinster), with the final round next Saturday 17th October in Breaffy bringing the league to a conclusion. Reigning champions Munster are in pole position to take honours again this season with both Connacht and Ulster in hot pursuit.

The games begin at 11am with admission to the days activities free of charge. Irish TV cameras will be on hand to capture the events on the day also, with Connacht GAA and the Mayo Sports Partnership coming together to lend their experience to help provide an eventful days activities.

The Connacht panel have been in training over the summer for the event and are hoping for a strong home support to help them in their quest to leapfrog Munster in the league table. The Connacht panel is as follows:
