Four hotseats filled

Four Mayo clubs have appointed new managers ahead of the start of the league next weekend.

Former Mayo attacker Paul McStay and Shane McCann are the new joint-managers of Ballina, with Liam McHale also on the management team as coaching advisor.

And outgoing Ballina boss Paul Jordan was ratified as Knockmore's new manager last Thursday night, succeeding Nigel Reape. Reape, meanwhile, is the new Belmullet manager.

Tom Connelly succeeds his brother Noel - now joint-manager of Mayo - as manager of Hollymount/Carramore, with Kevin Tierney, Paul Keane and Paul O'Malley as selectors.
