"These lads owe Castlebar Mitchels nothing"

Castlebar Mitchels co-manager Shane Conway has paid tribute to his players.
The Mitchels may have been edged out in Sunday's Mayo SFC final but Conway has nothing but praise for this crop of footballers:
"It's not just their talent," he enthuses in The Mayo News. "People talk about the talent, but it's all about their heart, their commitment, their effort.
"Their families must be amazing people as well to accept that these lads make such a commitment - they miss weddings, they miss exams, they miss everything.
"They miss out on a lot of things to make a commitment to Castlebar Mitchels. These lads owe Castlebar Mitchels nothing.
"And they'll be back. That's the thing. The age profile is very good and Castlebar Mitchels will be back. They'll have a rest and they will be back."
