Eamonn Fitzmaurice has revealed his admiration for his Mayo counterpart James Horan.

The two opposing managers are very similar in sideline style and the Kerry boss says Horan deserves credit for the manner in which he has coped with recent final disappointments.

"He'd done a fantastic job there and he's really brought the team on year on year," Fitzmaurice said to RTE Sport.

"I think they feel it's probably their year this year and they're really pushing hard for it."
