James O’Donoghue has been given the all clear ahead of Kerry's crunch Super 8s clash with Mayo this weekend.

The 2014 Young Footballer of the Year sustained a hamstring injury during the Kingdom's Munster semi-final victory over Clare and sat out the provincial decider against Cork.

However, manager Peter Keane has confirmed that the Legion clubman is "back training and going well" ahead of Sunday's first-round quarter-final meeting with Mayo in Killarney, where Kerry are unbeaten in the championship since 1995.
