Caiseal Gaels Hurling Club Medals Presentation Has Distinguished Guests

January 14, 2019

Carracastle Community Centre was recently bedecked in green and white, which are the colours of local hurling club Caiseal Gaels. Fittingly, Caiseal Gaels share their colours with Limerick, as two All-Ireland medal winners from the 2018 Limerick panel, Pat and Colin Ryan, were guests of honour at the Gaels’ medal presentation day.

Pat and Colin brought with them the Liam McCarthy Cup which was given pride of place at the presentation ceremony. The two players proved very popular guests and addressed the large crowd of players, parents and other club members who were present.

They spoke of the enjoyment they have received from playing hurling and the great joy experienced in Limerick after the All-Ireland victory last August. They gave some great advice to the young hurlers present and wished them well in 2019 as they represent Caiseal Gaels and Mayo GAA on the field of play in various competitions.
