'There is no other facility like this in Ireland'

Connacht Council secretary John Prenty expects the planned air dome at the province's Centre of Excellence in Bekan, Co. Mayo to open next summer.
It follows the news that the provincial body has received a grant worth €2.1million from the Department of Rural and Community Development towards the development of the indoor arena containing a full-size GAA pitch. The overall cost of the project is estimated at €3 million.
"We have to talk to the designer and the people putting the tender together, but I'd hope we can be open for Feile in June 2019," Prenty told the Western People.
"It will open up a lot of options for us. There is no other facility like this in Ireland."
