Shamrock Gaels of Sligo edged out Leitrim’s Fenagh in today’s Connacht Club IFC quarter-final clash at Enniscone.

The Yeats County outfit prevailed by the minimum margin – 2-11 to 2-10.

Their reward is a semi-final showdown with Fuerty of Roscommon at Sligo venue next Saturday (November 10).

Easkey, meanwhile, progressed to the last four of the Connacht Club JFC courtesy of a 2-17 to 1-9 victory over Leitrim’s Glenfarne-Kiltyclogher in Pairc Sean MacDiarmada.

The winners now turn their attention to a last four date with Balla of Mayo which is also scheduled to be played next Saturday at a Sligo venue.
