Today's Connacht SFC quarter-final between Mayo and Galway was eagerly anticipated, but it failed abysmally to live up to expectations.
With so much at stake, it proved to be a disappointing spectacle which had many onlookers hoping extra-time wouldn't be needed. And they were spared that thanks to Johnny Heaney's injury-time goal which handed Galway victory over their great rivals in the championship for the third year in-a-row.
Those of u watching Galway Mayo. We'll never get these 2 hours of our lives back.

Yours Sincerely

If this Galway v Mayo game was in Ulster, the pundits would be calling it puke football. Blanket defence versus blanket defence, awful stuff #MayoVGalway
