Division 2 leaders Naomh Fionnbarra continued their perfect record as they swept past Oliver Plunketts with a 3-13 to 1-9 win thanks to a strong finish.

It was the men from Mell that had a blistering start with an Emmet Kelleher goal helping them put 1-2 on the scoreboard after two minutes but a goal from Hugh Osborne had the Barrs 1-5 to 1-4 ahead at the break.

The sides were level right up to the 51st minute but the home side surged ahead to claim their sixth win with the help of goals from Jack Butterly and Conor Osborne.

Hunterstown Rovers remain just a point off the pace in second place after recording a comfortable 2-12 to 1-5 win over a Na Piarsaigh side who have yet to pick up a point.

The first half was a tight affair and Na Piarsaigh were very much in contention at half time as a Robert Murphy goal saw them trail by just 1-4 to 1-2.

However, Hunterstown dominated the second half and ran out winners by ten points.

St Brides are a point further back in third place after recording a 1-11 to 1-5 win over Young Irelands on Sunday.

The Knockbridge men dominated the first half and although missing a number of chances, they had a 0-6 to 0-1 lead going into the half time break.

Sean Marry's goal on 37 minutes effectively ended the game as a contest before Johnny Breen replied with a late goal for the Dundalk men.

St Fechins joined St Josephs on eight points after securing a 0-12 to 0-8 win at Cluskey Park.

There was little to separate the teams in the opening half with Alan Quigley and Conal O'Hanlon among the scorers for the Joes as they went in level at five points apiece. Eoin Duffy and Ronan Holcroft replied with points for the Fechins.

The second period saw the Joes take a two-point lead but the visitors begin to dominate and with Holcroft in fine scoring form they ran out four point winners.

Declan Byrne landed 12 points to help St Mochtas record their third victory of the campaign as they overcame O'Connells by 0-23 to 1-14.

A well contested first half ended level at ten points apiece with Byrne getting support from Eamonn O'Neill and Gavin Breen, while Conor Culligan and Niall Conlon were among the scorers for O'Connells.

The game was in the balance for much of the second half and a goal from Dean Corrigan levelled the match at 1-14 to 0-17 with five minutes remaining. However, the Mochtas reeled off the last six points to seal victory.

In the remaining game, both Glen Emmets (1-8) and O Raghallaighs (0-11) will by happy with the point that sees them move further away from relegation trouble.
