Naomh Fionnbarra club notes

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 17th May. The winning numbers were 4, 9, 20 & 24.  There were 3 match 3 winners Gearldine Shevlin, Dunany, Finbarr Donoghue c/o Anne Harrington and Mary Callan, Ballygassan who won €50 each.  Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000.  Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

Our Intermediate mens team had a good win in the Division 2 League on a scoreline of Naomh Fionnbarra 3-11(20) St. Fechins 2-13 (19) on Friday evening at Beaulieu, Termonfeckin. It was a good result lads for the lads which leaves them in first place at the top of the table.

The lads have upcoming fixtures in Division 4 v St. Patricks on Tuesday 23rd May in John Markey Park at 7.45pm and v Kilkerley Emmets on Sunday 28th June in Kilkerley at 11.30am.

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. are hosting a Night with Country Music Star Mike Denver in the Carrickdale Hotel on Friday 28th July.  Further details on ticket prices will be made available in the future for what should be a great night!!

Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. are hosting a Kellogs GAA Cúl Football and Hurling Camp again this year from Monday 31st July and Friday 4th August.

"Take the Poc Fada Challenge"

Grab the boots, kids, team mates and head to Annaverna this August Bank Holiday for the All Ireland Poc Fada. Walk with some of the finest hurlers in the Country as they fight their way across the Cooley Mountains to be crowned All Ireland Champions. We'll have music, refreshments and craic on the day and best of all it's free!!!! So stick the date in your diary and see you on the 05th August.

The club would like to express our deepest sympathy to the families of Sean Conlon, Williamstown, Kilsaran and Frank Brady, London who passed away recently.  The Ladies team send extra condolences to their manager Mark McArdle who was Frank brother in law. May they Rest In Peace.
