Division 2: We had our first game in the league last Saturday evening and lost to St. Fechins by seven points in a high scoring game. The opposition were just that bit stronger on the night although we had our chances and it could have been a lot closer on the scoreboard. As said it was our first game and a couple of the younger lads did not look out of place on the first team. The team battled to the end and scored 1-3 in the last five minutes.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 19th April at 8.00pm, jackpot €3,000 in 48 numbers.

Minor: Best of luck to the Louth minor team in the Leinster Championship next Saturday and their manage Wayne Kierans and selector Stuart Reynolds as they play Laois in Portlaoise.

Tidy Towns: There will be a litter clean up this Saturday 22nd April at Seabank Castlebellingham from 10am, all welcome to lend a hand.

Young Whistlers: Louth Coaching and Games are running a Young Whistlers aimed at 15/16 year olds with aspirations of becoming referees. The course is open to both hurling and football and will take place in Darver centre of Excellence on Saturday 22nd of April from 10am-12pm and from 6.30pm-8.30pm on Wednesday 26th attendance on both days is compulsory. To reserve a place on the course please email [email protected] before Wednesday 19th of April.

An Gaeltacht: Scholarships for Coláiste Bhríde, Rann Na Feirste for under 14 and under 16 are now available. An Coiste Chondae is sponsoring a limited number of scholarships, with the value of €700 for each full-scholarship and €350 for each half scholarship. Application forms must be received by Saturday May 6th and assessment of candidates will be on Saturday 13th May in Darver commencing at 9am. Candidates must be active paid-up members of the GAA and permission of parent/guardian is necessary. Application forms can be obtained from your club secretary.

Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Sharon 086-1631310.

Cl Camp: Kellogg's cl camp promotion 2017, book online before midnight 4th June and get your child's gear before the camp starts, gear will be distributed to clubs for collection. Online bookings at www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie
