Rhode have qualified for their fifth Leinster Club SFC decider following a 0-12 to 1-5 semi-final victory over Sean O'Mahonys in Drogheda today.

The Offaly kingpins will renew acquaintances with St Vincent's on Sunday, December 11th and will be hoping to avenge their defeat of two years ago at the same stage.

The free-scoring Niall McNamee was on target with eight points in the four point success over their Louth counterparts.

McNamee & Co shaded a low-scoring first-half by 0-5 to 0-2 but Sean O'Mahonys were thrown a lifeline when Stephen Fisher raised a green flag via a penalty spot with four minutes left on the clock.

It was a case of second time lucky for Fisher who failed to find the back of the Rhode net with an earlier attempt from the spot in the 40th minute.

As things panned out, that proved to be the last score of the contest and Paschal Kellaghan's side could afford the luxury of a missed Glen O'Connell spot kick.

The woodwork denied the Rhode man at the end but they won't lose any sleep over that as they switch their focus to St Vincent's.
