Champ Playoff: We had a very disappointing result in Darver last Friday night going down to the O'Raghallaighs in the regelation playoff replay. We must now beat the county champions St. Patricks to stay in the senior championship for another year. The team started well on Friday night and ahead until we conceded a goal but still got back on track and the scores were level at halftime. The O'Raghallaighs got off to a flyer in the second half and scored 1-3 without reply to got six points in front. We got a goal to pull it back to three behind but truth be told from then on we never really looked like we were going to win. 8.45pm on a Friday night in September is no time to be starting a game in my opinion but as you see from the fixtures above the powers that be are sending us by to Darver for the third Friday night in a row.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 14th September at 8.00pm, jackpot €1,800 in 48 numbers. 

Final: A big thank you to all who helped out last Sunday in the Grove for the junior final, the club appreciates the time given by all. Congratulations to St. Kevin's on wining the junior championship and good to them in the Leinster Championship next month. 

 

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 17th September in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, Music by Brian McDermott, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.
