St Fechins would like to congratulate St Fechins players Orla McEvoy and Ciara Smith, coach Trisha Duffy and the Louth U16 Girls on their win in the Leinster Final on Sunday 26th June when they beat Westmeath by 3-07 to 3-06.

 

St Fechins Annual Golf Classic takes place in County Louth Golf Club on 22nd July. Anyone interested in taking part or sponsoring the event should contact 0868505269.  

 

Our juvenile fixtures this week start on Monday night when the Minors play Sean O'Mahonys/Dowdallshill in Dundalk at 7.30, while on Wednesday the U16s face Cooley Kickhams in Cooley at 7.30pm.

 

The Senior Hurling League continues this week. St Fechins hope to continue their winning start to the competition when they face Mattock Rangers in Beaulieu on Thursday at 8pm. Attention then turns to the Táin League where St Fechins face Pearse Óg in Dundalk on Sunday at 4pm.

 

St Fechins Senior Footballers face Kilkerley Emmets in the penultimate round of the Division 1 League in Beaulieu on Friday night at 8pm. While on Sunday the Junior Footballers hope to keep up their winning run when they face Dundalk Young Irelands in Dundalk at 11.30am  

 

St Fechins are collecting tokens from the Drogheda Independent to win a sports kit worth 600 euro for a juvenile team. We need to collect 650 tokens over a 5 week period beginning on 18th May. Could we ask all families to help with this campaign by purchasing the paper and sending the tokens with your child to training, to be handed to the coach. Tokens can also be given to Emma @ the Club Shop. All support for this is gratefully appreciated!

 

St Fechins are also taking part in Topaz Cash for Clubs. To support the club simply scan your Play or Park game tag when you make a fuel purchase at any participating Topaz station. Any Lidl shoppers please support St Fechins! Lidl, proud supporters of Ladies Gaelic Football, are committed to supporting the grassroots of the game. In a new store competition, starting on Thursday 26th May and running until Sunday, 10th July, Lidl customers are invited to nominate their local Ladies Gaelic Football Club to win cash prizes. Using the nomination card, offered at the till with every purchase (two cards given for over €20 spent) customers can vote for their local club from the list of clubs on the in-store competition unit. €1,000 is available to be won in each store.
