Cuchalainn Gaels U11's played St.Pat's on Friday evening last. A difficult first half playing into a strong breeze saw the Gaels go behind despite an early goal 1-3 to 2-5. The Gaels kept their heads and playing the better football in the second half evened the match and pushed on to win by 6 points at the final whistle. It was an outstanding team performance from the team.
There was a excellent turnout for our U9 blitz on Monday evening against a very strong Sean o Mahoneys, we saw displays of hard but fair football from both sides all players should be very proud of themselves and a special mention for Ruiri Walker who went off injured.
Our ladies team have an away match against O'Raghallaighs in Drogheda on Sunday morning with a 11am throw in.
Our men's teams next game is against Westerns on Monday 27th,with venue and date to be confirmed.
Well done to our Men's team who put up a hard fought game against Naomh Malachi at home in the semi-final of the Kevin Mullen Plate last Tuesday evening.We narrowly missed out on a place in the final by losing by 2points.
