Division 1: We suffered another heavy defeat on Saturday night in Drogheda to the Newtown Blues. Wen had chances and was well in the game until we conceded the first goal and after that the opposition added another goal and three points in a devastating ten minute period that just seemed to take all the wind out of our sails. With only four games to go in the division every game is like a final from now on, we have five points and there are five teams below us all on four points and we have to play two of those teams starting with Collon next Friday night in the Grove. We must go for the win in all our remaining games as our score difference is -45 and because of that, we cannot depend on finishing level on points with any other side.

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Bank Holiday Monday 6th June in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, Music by Seamus & Bernard, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.
Division 5: We played our neighbours St. Josephs last night and as with all our other games in this division they were far stronger than us and we suffered another heavy loss. We had plenty of our young and not so young on the field and on behalf of the club we would like to thank them for turning out, it is very much appreciated.
