Cuchulainn Gaels club notes

May 23, 2016

On Sunday 29th May, Cuchulainn Gaels are holding a road collection at the crossroads Omeath in aid of youth development within the club. From 3pm there will be a BBQ, face painting and the ceol heads playing. Come along and show your support.

The club would also like to wish any of our members who made their Holy Communion on Saturday a big congratulations-we hope you had a great day.

Men's team are playing Glen Emmets away this Tuesday, with an 8pm throw in. We then play the Kevins at home on Friday evening at 8pm.
All support for these two big games will be greatly appreciated.

The ladies put on a battling performance against Mattock on Sunday morning but were unfortunatley on the loosing side. Training is at 7pm on Tuesdays and 10am on Sundays. All new recruits welcome!

Our U11 team played a match on Friday night (20th) in wet and windy conditions in Dundalk against a strong Dundalk Gaels team. Missing a few of the U11 team and having to play 14 a side, the management of Eugene Donnelly and Mark Sharkey had to select some of the younger lads to play the full game, but they didn't let them down, matching the older guys with skill and strength. A great win, with a final score 2-5 to 5pts.  Team - Phillip McGovern, Jack Mcardle, Eamonn & Aaron Donnelly, Larry Brennan, Gavin Morgan, James & Adam Sharkey, Shea & Conall Donnelly, James Keenan, Shea Connelly, David McQuaid, Michael Keenan.
