Naomh Fionnbarra & St. Annes Club Notes

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 22nd July.  The winning numbers were 1, 4, 9, 11. There were 6 match 3 winners Gemma Bannon, Drumcar, Heather Harmon, Salterstown Hill, Ann McCann, Clonmore, Ellen Butterly, Duddestown, Finbarr Donohue, c/o Ann Harrington and Muireann Phelan, c/o Ann Harrington who won €25 each.  The Lotto now goes on a 3 week break and will return on Wednesday 19th August and the jackpot stays at €10,000, with the reserve jackpot rising to  €3,550.   Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

On Monday 20th July the Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-18 team lost narrowly to Wolfe Tones 2-11(17) to 2-9(15) in Division 3 League Round 6 in Drogheda.  Hard luck lads.

On Thursday 23rd July the Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-15 team received a walk over from O'Connells/ Stabannon Parnells/ John Mitchells in Division 3 League Round 2.

On Friday 24th July the Naomh Fionnbarra Junior team recorded a comprehensive victory over Sean McDermotts 2-19(25) to 1-2(5) in the 2nd Round of the Louth Junior Championship at Stabannon.  This send the lads through to the quarter finals where they will play the runners-up from Group 3 in the Quarter Finals.  Well done lads.

Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies G.F.C. are holding Church Gate Collections on the weekend of Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th August.

The club would like to give our best wishes to our PRO Nicholas Butterly who got married to Sarah Faulkner on Saturday 25th July and wish them health and happiness in the future.
