There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 6th May.  The winning numbers were 10, 21, 23 & 24. There were 3 match 3 winners Martin O'Neill, Annagassan, Sheila Hanratty, Adamstown, John Barton, Togher - who won €50 each .  Next weeks draw takes place on Wednesday 13th May and the jackpot stays at €10,000, with the reserve jackpot rising to  €1,900.   Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.  Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated.

Well done to Naomh Fionnbarra/Lannleire U-16 team who had a great win over Dundalk Young Irelands at John Markey Park on Monday evening last on a scoreline of 5-11(26) to 4-9(21).  Each and every one of the 15 players deserves huge praise for their terrific performance to win this highly competitive and entertaining game, played on bank holiday Monday evening. Going in at the break we were down by 2-5 to 1-2 or 6 points but with hard work, determination and a lot of skill the lads fought back to win the game by 5 points. Naomh Fionnbarra Junior 2 team had a good win over St Mochtas in Division 4B League at John Markey Park on Tuesday evening last. Louth Senior Football team begin their Leinster Senior Football Championship campaign against Westmeath at 3:30pm on Sunday 17th May at the Gaelic Grounds Drogheda.  The game is an all ticket affair and tickets may be purchased from Louth County Board, www.tickets.ie, www.gaa.ie, Centra and Supervalu shops.  Best of luck to the team and hopefully they can repeat last years victory.Best of luck also to the Louth Minor Football who continue their Leinster Minor Football Championship journey against Meath on Saturday 16th May at the Gaelic Grounds Drogheda.  Hopefully they can continue on their good run of form and get one over our neighbours and rivals.There are plenty of upcoming fixtures this week for supporters and players alike, please come along and support our teams if you can make it.  For more fixtures details please see local press, Louth and Proud website and the Louth GAA website.
