Hunterstown Rovers club notes
April 13, 2015There will be a mass for our past and present members this Sunday 19th April at 10:00am in Ballapousta church.
We secured our first win of the season with a fine 4 point win over Roche Emmets last Sunday afternoon, with David Finn, Ryan Burms & Tony McKenna to the fore in a good team performance.
The club would like would like to thank the Hunterstown Inn and the Lynch family for sponsoring our first team jerseys for the coming year, which were presented before the game.
We are playing Cooley Kickhams in Cooley this Sunday at 3pm, your support is always appreciated.
Lotto numbers on the 12/04/2015 were: 9, 12, 14, 26. There was no winner, next week's jackpot is €10,000. The €20 winners were:May Reilly, Natasha McGahon, Donal Martin, Kitty Traynor & John Levins.
Bingo continues this Friday in the Ardee Parish Centre at 8pm with a jackpot of €4,200 on the night plus our 'Winner takes all flyer'.
The club will have a benefit night, with Gerry Gutherie playing in the Glencarn Hotel in Castleblayney on Friday 15th of May, a great night's entertainment is promised, hope to see you all there. Watch this space for more details on the run up to this date.
