There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Cammogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 18th March. The winning numbers were 9, 10, 15 & 23. There was 1 match 3 winner - Marie Byrne Grangebellew who won €150. Next weeks draw takes place on Wednesday 25th March and the jackpot rises to €10,000. Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member.
The Senior mens team had a great win against the Gearldines in Round 1 of the Division 2 League in John Markey Park, Ballygassan on Sunday with a scoreline of 1-10(13) to 1-4 (7). Adult team training continues on Tuesday & Friday evening 7:30-8:30pm. All players welcome.
Club membership for 2015 may be paid to any committee member. Also anyone interested in "Club Barrs 2015-2017" is encouraged to contact any committee member.
The Senior Ladies team also had a fantastic start to their 1st league game in Division 2 League with a great win over St. Marys Ardee on a scoreline of 3-10 (19) to 1-5(8). It was a great performance played by everyone on the pitch, with the performance of the younger players was especially promising. Ladies team training continues on Monday and Friday evenings at 7:30-8:30pm. All ladies players welcome.
