Results: Senior football championship relegation playoff Kilkerley Emmets 1-9, O'Connell's 1-12.
Fixtures: Minor League Division 2, Saturday 20/9/14, St. Brides, Home, 5.30pm.
Relegation Playoff: On Sunday morning we maintained our senior championship status with a hard fought win over Kilkerley in Ardee. Although we were the better team this was another game that should have been won long before the final whistle. The last few minutes were heart stopping and the keep ball tactic at the end does nothing for the faint hearted. However it was a good win and well done to all involved as it guarantees we will be in the hat for the senior championship draw in 2015. Only two games remain both in the league and we still have a chance to qualify for the top four. The next game is fixed for Saturday 4th October at home to Mattock Rangers but that is subject to change.

Tickets: The winners of the clubs all Ireland football tickets were Jackie Agnew and Jim Connolly. The remaining two tickets can be won in a raffle to raise club funds, 1st prize 2 all Ireland football final tickets plus €100, 2nd prize €200, 3rd prize €100. Lines can be purchased from any player or committee member at €2 a line or 3 lines for €5. Draw will take place on Thursday 18th September in our clubrooms at 9.00pm.
Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 17th September at 8.00pm, jackpot €4,100 in 48 numbers. All welcome.
Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 20th September in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, Music by Unity, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

Zumba-Fitness: Zumba fitness classes in our clubrooms every Tuesday at 7.00pm and again at 8.00pm with Heather Gorden 087-9835279.
Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Kayleigh 087-0615775.
