Playoff: We play probably our most important game since the intermediated final in 2012 when we line out against Kilkerley next Sunday morning in Ardee. This game will decide if we stay in the senior championship or drop down to the intermediated one which, as I said last week could take a long time to get back to senior. So all roads lead to Pairc Mhuire to get behind the team and hopefully get the right result to keep us in the senior championship for 2015.
Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 10th September at 8.00pm, jackpot €4,000 in 48 numbers. All welcome.
Referee: Congratulations and good luck to O'Connell's player Jonathon (Wiggy) Conlon who will referee the junior championship final between Glenn Emmets and Oliver Plunketts in Stabannon next Sunday. This will be his first major championship final and we wish him and his team all the best on the day.
Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 20th September in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, Music by Unity, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.
Clocks: O'Connell's wall clocks available, ideal gift, one can be seen behind the bar in our clubhouse or contact big Jim Connolly for further details.
Zumba-Fitness: Zumba fitness classes in our clubrooms every Tuesday at 7.00pm and again at 8.00pm with Heather Gorden 087-9835279.
Slimming World: Slimming World will be in our clubrooms every Monday from 7.00pm with consultant Kayleigh 087-0615775.
