There was one game in Division 3 which saw Stabannon Parnells finish strongly to score a 1-13 to 0-7 win over Dowdallshill on Friday night.

In an even first half, it was the Parnells who had the slight advantage as they went in with a 0-7 to 0-6 advantage.

It looked as if it would remain tight in the second half but Stabannon took over in the closing 20 minutes, scoring 1-7 without reply, as John Campbell scored the only goal of the game.

The victory keeps alive their slim hopes of making the play-off places. Tweet
