McDonnell: Louth need to perform for 70 minutes

Andy McDonnell says Louth need to start producing 70-minute performances.
The Wee County went through their entire Division Two campaign without picking up a victory and McDonnell knows those sort of patchy displays won't cut it in the championship.
"As a team, we played better [against Meath] but there's no point in playing in fits and starts like we have for the whole league," the Newtown Blues clubman says in The Drogheda Independent.
"We keep going back to the Armagh game and thinking it might have been different, but we've got to believe we're good enough.
"We're as good as teams like Meath, but the margin of error is very small and maybe we could be in as different position if we were doing what Aidan [O'Rourke] tells us and playing for 70 minutes."
