Sheelan Shield: On Sunday morning we lined out in the Sheelan Shield and had a convincing win over Roche Emmets. While still not at full strength it is another game under our belts and while the opposition ended the game with only 14 men we can count ourselves lucky that we did not suffer the same fate. However it's another win and with some fine scores taken, we now get ready for the start of the division one league next Sunday versus the Dundalk Gaels away at the Ramparts at 3.00pm.
Team: Sean Connolly; Declan Byrne, Conor Byrne, Keith Woods; PJ Tuite, Jackie Agnew 2-2, David Hoey; Sean Cairns, Conor Kiernan; Conor McGill 0-1, Dean Stanfield 0-2, Andrew Sharkey 0-4(2f); Robert Quigley, Paul McKeever 0-4(3f), Emmet Byrne 0-1. Subs Andrew Shields for C. Byrne, Salem Rifaie 0-1 for D. Byrne, Dean Corrigan for Quigley, Jason Carroll for Hoey.
