Membership: Club membership is now due and can be paid up until 31st March 2020, the fees are adult €50, OAP and U16 to U18 €25, contact Joanne O’Dwyer 086-1893217 or Brian Kearney 087-2841895 any committee member. 

Management: The full line up of management for the season has been completed and is as follows, manager Wayne Callan, selectors Dessie Callan, Keith Woods and Paul McKeever. We wish them the best of luck and every success on the playing field with the club. 

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms on Wednesday 15th January at 8.00pm, jackpot €1,800 in 48 numbers.

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 18th January in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Country Pride, admission €10 and refreshments will be served. 

Ogsport: Ogsport Lú is running pre-season games again this year for U8, U9 & U10s in DKIT Sport and Drogheda Leisure Centre. All grades are 7a-side and start on Saturday 8th February and continue every Saturday until the end of March. There is an €100 entry fee for 1 or 2 teams in under 10 and €150 for three or more. The under 9 & 8 entry fees is €50 for 1 or 2 teams and €75 for three or more teams. 

Finals: The AIB All-Ireland senior football and hurling finals will take place next Sunday in Croke Park. They were usually played on St. Patricks day but have been brought forward to January to condense the fixture calendar and create opportunities for club activity and would also allow counties in the Allianz Leagues to access players who were previously unavailable because they were playing in All-Ireland senior club semi-finals and finals. The football final is between Corofin (Galway) and Kilcoo (Down) at 4pm and the hurling will be contested by Ballyhale Shamrocks (Kilkenny) and Borris-lleigh (Tipperary) at 2pm, both games will be live TG4.

Coaching: Louth GAA Coaching & Games Conference will take place this Saturday 18th January 2020 in Louth GAA Centre of Excellence Darver. Confirmed speakers on the day are Malachy O’Rourke former Monaghan manager from 9.30 to 10.20, on theory, the management puzzle, Ryan Porter-former Monaghan coach from 10.30 to 11.30, on practical, Tactical coaching and drills. David Drake-Ulster Rugby Senior Athletic Performance Coach from 12.00 to 13.15 Merits of speed training and Practical coaching tips. Niall McNamee-Offaly senior footballer from 13.30 to 14.30, on theory, Health and wellbeing. Draw: Louth GAA is pleased to announce details of the launch of the Wee County Double House Draw, a fundraising initiative where two houses are up for grabs. The first drawn ticket will win the choice of a brand new three-bed semi-detached house at Sea View Way in Blackrock, Dundalk or at Beaulieu Village in Drogheda. The second drawn ticket will win the remaining house. The third prize in the draw is €10,000. Tickets cost €100. The total value of the prizes is in excess of €500,000 though alternative cash prizes are also on offer. All monies raised from the draw will go towards the funding of the new Louth GAA Stadium. Those interested in buying tickets should contact their local Louth GAA club, or alternatively purchase on www.pickahouse.ie (details of specified shops/offices are also listed on the website).
