Our senior ladies played Cooley yesterday in their league LGFA final. A severely depleted Gers team fought gallantly but just came up short on a score line of 4-09 to 1-08. Great effort girls and well done on a fabulous season.

The ladies play in the Subsidiary final on Wednesday night at 8pm in Roche. Please show your support if you can.

Congratulations to our u13 boys who won their league final on Monday night against a Pats side who battled until the end. Great performance boys and well done to everyone involved.

While our 2019 season is nearly done, there is still some underage activity and we urge all our supporters and followers to keep an eye on our social media platforms for up to date information. We wish all of our teams the best of luck in their upcoming games. Please support the teams where you can.

Our schools programme has begun its second year, where the club run sessions in the 3 parish schools within Blackrock and Haggardstown, for 1st and 2nd class children. This initiative will run for 12 weeks in total, with 6 sessions per class provided either side of Christmas. Thank you to Frank Lynch & Co for their sponsorship of this programme and to the coaches who volunteer their Friday mornings.

Our Lotto jackpot has not been won for several months and is now a whopping €10,800.00.  We are very grateful to all those who support the Club. The monies raised are vital and enable us to maintain and upgrade our club facilities for all the parish to enjoy. Remember – you need to be in it to win it!!!! €2 could see you €10,800.00 richer!!! We would encourage all our community to support our Club Lotto; thank you to those who already do.
