Naomh Fionnbarra club notes & St Annes Camogie club notes

There was no jackpot winner in Naomh Fionnbarra G.F.C. and St. Anne's Camogie Club Lotto draw held on Wednesday 25th September. The winning numbers were 2, 13, 15 & 17. There were 3 match 3 winners Aoife Devlin, Mary Connor and Barry Young who won €50 each. Next weeks jackpot stays at €10,000. Tickets are available from the usual local outlets, Lotto sellers and any committee member. Funds raised from our Lotto draw go towards the running of the club and your support is greatly appreciated. There is now also an option to participate in the Club Lotto byStanding Order. There are 2 options to enter by (1) pay €15 every 2 months for 1 entry per week or (2) pay €38 every 2 months for 3 entries per week. Please contact any committee member if interested.

 

Well done to the Finnbarrs / Lannleire Minors who beat Newtown Blues in the County Minor B Semi Final tomorrow on Saturday in John Markey Park, Ballygassan on a scoreline of 0-18(18) to 1-5(8).  The lads will play either O'Raghallaigh or Dreadnots in the Final.  Team:  Matthew O’Reilly (NF); Luke Kennedy (NF), Aaron McArdle (L), Adam El Madi (NF); Dylan Corrigan (NF), Kalum Regan (NF), Alex Carroll (L); Jack Maguire (L), Thomas McCreesh (NF); Ósion Madden (NF), Ciaran Markey (NF), Stephen O’Reilly (NF); Patrick McArdle (NF), Daragh Malone (L), Conor Boyle (NF).  Subs:  Colum Kierans (NF), Stephen Doyle (NF), Ryan McArdle (L), Lorcan Callaghan (L).

Hard luck to the Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies who were beaten by St. Patricks in the Intermediate Championship Final on Sunday at St. Brigids Park Dowdallshill on a scoreline of 3-11(20) to 1-9(12).  The girls would like to thank everyone who helped them along the way including their management team, sponsors and supporters especially everyone that had the flags and bunting up for the girls. You will be back stronger next year.  

Hard luck to our U14 girl's who were beaten in the Shield final on Saturday by Kilkerley Emmets. The girls put in hard work all year and did the club proud. 

Hard luck to the Ladies team  who were beaten by St. Patrick’s in the Intermediate Championship Final on Sunday. Naomh Fionnbarra Ladies would like to thank their main sponsors O’Neills Bakery for their continued support, IFM for sponsoring their new training tops and bags and JF Travel and the Butterly family for their donations. Thank you also to The Glyde Inn Annagassan who provided the ladies with a lovely meal after the game. A huge thank you to the mascots and supporters on the day. Congratulations to the Naomh Fionnbarra U10 girls team who had a good win over St.Pats in the half time game. The Ladies would also like to say a huge thank you to the management team of Alan McMahon, Stuart Reynolds and Andrew Rogers.

 

The Ladies have qualified for the semi-final of the league and are still in with the chance of bringing home some silverware this year! UP THE BARRS
