New Grounds: Louth GAA will launch a ‘dual house draw’ this month in a bid to raise finance for their €12 million stadium development in Dundalk. It is hoped all 40 Louth clubs will partake in the fundraiser, with tickets costing €100 each, although there will be no commission or bonuses for doing so. The prizes are a house in Blackrock and another in Drogheda. Up to a maximum of 25,000 tickets will be made available for purchase, roughly 20 percent of which will be put for sale online, between October and next Easter.

Engaged: Congratulations to one of our players Conor Byrne who got engaged to Lisa McDonnell from Maynooth a couple of weeks ago, best wishes to both from all at the club.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 9th October at 8.00pm, jackpot €5,400 in 48 numbers.

Finals: A big thank you to all who helped out last Saturday in terrible weather conditions for the junior final replay in the Grove. Congratulations to the winners Roche Emmets and also to Mattock Rangers on winning the intermediate championship last Sunday in Stabannon. Best of luck to both teams Newtown Blues and Naomh Mairtin in the senior final next Sunday in Drogheda.

Course: There will be an Award 1 Child Coaching Course during October in Darver starting next Monday 14th and on Wednesday 16th and on Saturday 19th and also on the same three day the following week.
