Louth: We now know the pairings for the Louth championships finals, in the junior final Roche Emmets will play Glyde Rangers next Sunday in Clan Na Gael Park at 3.30pm. In the intermediate final Kilkerley Emmets take on Mattock Rangers in Stabannon on 6th October, the senior will be a repeat of last year’s final between Naomh Mairtin and Newtown Blues on October 13th with the venue to be confirmed. Congratulations to Naomh Moninne on winning the senior hurling championship last Sunday and best of luck to both teams in the junior final this Sunday.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 25th September at 8.00pm, jackpot €5,200 in 48 numbers.

Talk: The 2019 Healthy Club Conference will take place in Croke Park on Saturday October 5th. Delegates will participate in workshops covering: mental health in sport, Diversity and inclusion, positive aging and the importance of physical activity. The themes will be brought to life through practical case studies revealing initiatives rolled out by Healthy Clubs in the past 12 months. Renowned GAA coaching tutor Paudie Butler will discuss the development of the child including their wellbeing, lies at the heart of all good coaching and is fundamental to the principles of the Healthy Club Project. Tipperary’s 2019 All Ireland winning man-of-match Noël McGrath and Dublin’s 2018 All Ireland winning star Nicole Owens will contribute to a panel discussion. If any of our coaches or members wishes to attend this conference please contact the club as soon as possible.
