Hopefully our community, friends and family are all aware of the huge weekend we have coming up. Mighty Marquee will showcase Strictly Come Dancing ‘Gers Style’ on Friday 27th September, and on Saturday 28th September we will present our very own version of The Oscars. Tickets are currently available through our committee, dancers and actors, with General Sale tickets released soon. This promises to be a great weekend of fun and craic, so don’t miss out!!

Best of luck to Louth Ladies, and our own girls Rebecca, Eilis, Lauren and Holly in their quest to win their All Ireland final v Fermanagh this coming Sunday in Croke Park. The club is behind you all. The Gers will be laying on buses from the clubhouse on Sunday morning. Please refer to your manager for details.

Hard luck to our Junior Ladies who would lose by 2 points in the championship final v Ardee St. Marys last weekend. A great effort by everyone involved, so well done.

Our Junior men play the Pats on Wednesday in the semi-final of the championship. Throw in is 7.15 pm in Darver. Please support the team if you can.    

There are lots of key underage matches taking place this coming week and we wish all of our teams the very best of luck as they play league semi-finals and championship games. Details of all upcoming matches can be found on our social media platforms and as always we urge friends and families of the Gers Community to show their support for our teams where you can. Please check our social media platforms for up to date information on all Club activity as well as reports and photos from last week’s games and blitz’s.  

Our Lotto is now €8,600.00; our jackpot has not been won for several months. We are very grateful to all those who support the Club. The monies raised are vital and enable us to maintain and upgrade our club facilities for all the parish to enjoy. Remember – you need to be in it to win it!!!! €2 could see you €8,600.00 richer!!!
