Our Senior Men had an agonising 1 point defeat in their opening Championship match v the Martins. Winner takes all next weekend in our second championship outing v St. Josephs where the victor will progress to the quarter finals. Venue and time TBC.

Our Senior Ladies fared much better with a convincing victory against the Brides in their championship match and will progress to the knockout stages with 2 wins from 2 matches. Very well done to all.

Our Minors will contest the Division 3 League final after they had a good win against DYI last Thursday on a score line of 4-17 to 3-6. Congratulations boys and well done to all involved.

Juvenile activity continues with training, games and blitz’s. We urge friends and families of the Gers Community to show their support for our teams where you can.  Please check our social media platforms for up to date information on all Club activity as well as reports and photos from last week’s games and blitz’s.  

GERALDINES GAA SUMMER CAMP – we are pleased to announce the dates of our own Camp taking part in McGeough Park Monday 12 – Wednesday 14 August 10am-1pm.  The camp will be overseen by some outstanding coaches and players. The camp is €35.00 per child and is open to 7-17 year old boys and girls.  Free gloves for all attendees.  Registration night will take place in the clubrooms on Friday 26 July from 6 – 7 pm.

GERS JERSEY COMPETITION …. Over the summer months we will be running a monthly competition to see where and with who you will be seen wearing the Green and White. Check our social media platforms for all the ways you can enter our new competition. Monthly O’Neill’s voucher for each successful winner in June, July and August up for grabs. So get snapping.

Our Lotto is now €7200.00.  We are very grateful to all those who support the Club. The monies raised are vital and enable us to maintain and upgrade our club facilities for all the parish to enjoy. Remember – you need to be in it to win it!!!!
