Sheelan Cup quarter-final: Barrs suffer heavy defeat in Clogherhead

Naomh Fionnbarra suffered a heavy defeat to Clogherhead Dreadnots in the Paddy Sheelan Cup Quarter Final in Clogherhead on Saturday evening. Played in conditions excellent for football the Dreadnots led from the first whistle to the last in what was a convincing win. Half time score: Naomh Fionnbarra 0-4 (4) Clogherhead Dreadnots 4-6 (18).

The Clogher men look forward to a semi final while the Barrs must lick their wounds as they now look towards the start of Division 2 League in a few weeks time. Full time score:  Naomh Fionnbarra 0-5 (5) Clogherhead Dreadnots 7-11 (32).
