U7's Match Report

Last Thursday evening saw the close of the season for our U7's as we played our final 'three game' blitz in Darver.

 

Drawn against three strong teams that included Dundalk Gaels, Glen Emmets and Wolfe Tones our young team stepped up and put in a fine performance in all games played.

 

On behalf of the U7's coaches and club we would like to thank our young players and their families for all their support throughout the season. The blitz matches played showed what a talented group of young players we have at our club.

 

Clubhouse Bar Manager

We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Moore as the new Clubhouse Bar Manager. David will take up his position at the end of the month and we wish him well for the future in his new role.

 

Scór na nÓg

Louth GAA are now looking for entrants for this year’s Scór na nÓg competition for under 17’s.

 

There are seven categories in the competition:

Rince Foirne (Figure/Céilí Dancing)

Amhránaíocht Aonair (Solo Singing) 
Aithriseoireacht/Scéalaíocht (Recitation/ Storytelling) 
Bailéad Ghrúpa (Ballad Group) 
Léiriú Stáitse (Stage Presentation) 
Ceol Uirlise (Instrumental Music) 
Rince Seit (Set Dancing)

It is with great sadness that O’Raghallaighs GFC has learned of the death of Brendan Hand, one of the heroes of our 1965 Senior Championship victory. The thoughts and prayers of everybody at the club are with Brendan’s family and friends at this time.

 

Our clubhouse bar is now hosting a weekly bingo night on Tuesday nights, kicking off at 9.30pm. Make sure to come along to what’s sure to be a great night of fun.
