U12 Girls Team

Our girls U12 Championship Team fought a hard battle today to bring home the shield against a determined Roche Emmetts who never gave up. Final score 4 8 to 3 3. A great game from start to finish with the Tones girls putting in a fantastic display of teamwork, grit and determination to see the win over the line. Many thanks to our sponcers Gerry’s Fresh Foods in Bryanstown

Race Night

Race nights always make for enjoyable and entertaining events. The Pheasant, for one night only, will be turned into Drogheda's very own Cheltenham Race meet, as local trainers cheer their horses home into the winning paddock and punters, shouting at horses as if English was their native tongue, will that one horse home with all their might. Turning €5 into €10.

Also on the night there will be music provided from our local talented DJ Justin Murtagh. Who has showcase his disk jockeying talents at multiple previous Wolfe Tones events. A spot raffle will also take place on the night, with plenty of prizes to spark peoples interest.

As part of the race night we need people to sponsor horses. For a mere €10 you can become one of the trainers for the night, but it doesn't stop there you also get to name your horse. You can be as creative as you wish, we are hoping for more creative names than the ever popular HorseyMcHorseFace. On top of being a trainer and getting to name you horse, you also get to select your jockey. Anyone can be a jockey this night, be they aged between 1 day to 100 years, real or imaginary, this is your jockey again be as creative as you wish. You can purchase your horse at or simply contact a club member
