U7 Blitz Report:

The sun shined bright on Wednesday evening in Darver, as did the O'Raghallaighs U7's who lined up for their first all-county blitz of 2018. Up against Sean McDermots, St. Pat's and St. Mary's our young gaels did our club proud with each one demonstrating great passion, teamwork and individual skill from the very first whistle to the very last. Many thanks to our opponents for contributing to three great games of football and a special thanks to all parents for their continued support.

 

Fixtures

Our Senior Men's team continue their 2018 League campaign on Friday at home against Hunterstown Rovers.  Throw in is at 8.00pm. All support welcome.

 

Our Adult Ladies team will play Hunterstown Rovers at home this Tuesday. Throw in is at 7.30pm.

 

On Saturday, our U14 team face off against Wolfe Tones at home. Throw in is at 5.00pm.

 

Juvenile Training

Training for our juvenile academy continues every Saturday morning at 11.00am. All new players welcome. Training for all other age groups continues as normal also.

 

Know Your Sport Competition

Put your sporting knowledge to the test with our 2018 Know Your Sport competition. Answer 20 questions predicting the next few months of sport, earning points for each correct prediction, with the winner earning a grand prize of €500. Cost of entry is €10. Closing date for entries is 31st May, with the winner being announced on 20th September. All funds raised will go towards the development of our juvenile teams and to support our hosting of Feile Peile na nOg 2018. Entry forms can be obtained from the clubhouse bar, or our U14 mentors.

 

 

 

Unwanted Gear Requested

We are looking for any juvenile players to donate their unwanted jerseys, tops, shorts, socks, jackets, etc to be sold in support of our hosting of the U14 Feile. Please bring any unwanted gear to your next training session to give them to your coaches.
