Roche U8's in action in sunny Stabannon!

We had 2 teams this morning in a blitz in Stabannon. Our 2 teams played against the hosts and 2 teams from Glen Emmets. All games were competitive and all our players acquitted themselves very well in warm and testing conditions.

Roche U7's competed in their first ever blitz in Darver on Wednesday evening. Playing three matches all 

20 minutes long the kids were exhausted come the end and all got loads of game time in all matches. Roche played really well throughout with some brilliant link up play. Well done to players, mentors and supporters. A great night was had by all.

This was a full on battle from both sides for the entire match. The game could have gone either way, however with tired legs and eight minutes extra time played for stoppages, our lads were the victors.

Féile Peile na NÓg 2018

 

Roche U14 boys completed their 5k run on Saturday in the beautiful sunshine. There was a fantastic atmosphere and all participants were delighted with their performance.

 

All proceeds of donations & sponsorship will go directly to our U14 boys campaign in the 2018 John West Féile Peile na Nóg. Thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated & supported our boys on the day.

First Aid Training

Over last weekend, 12 of our coaches completed first aid training for minor sports injuries, CPR & defibrillation. This is a skill that is very much needed in sports clubs & we are very fortunate that our club can see the value in this training.
