No prizes for guessing which team dominates our weekly hurling selection following yesterday's league decider…
1. Eoin Murphy (Kilkenny)
The Cats' number one made a brilliant second-half save to deny Tipp substitute John O'Dwyer.
2. Joey Holden (Kilkenny)
Few forwards recall being marked by Ballyhale Shamrocks' Holden with any great fondness.
3. Michael Cahill (Tipperary)
The Tipperary full-back line was under pressure but Cahill did his best to stem the tide.
4. Paddy Deegan (Kilkenny)
A strong contender for 'man-of-the-match', the O'Loughlin Gaels youngster didn't put a foot wrong in the Kilkenny defence.
5. Conor Delaney (Kilkenny)
Delivered the ball into Walter Walsh for the goal that set the tone for the winners' much-improved second-half display.
6. Cillian Buckley (Kilkenny)
The ever-reliable Dicksboro player had the honour of lifting the silverware on home turf.
7. Padraic Maher (Tipperary)
As per usual, gave his all for the Premier County cause but it wasn't to be on this occasion.
8 Conor Fogarty (Kilkenny)
Came off the bench in the 48th minute to make a telling contribution to his team's victory.
9. James Maher (Kilkenny)
Capped off a fine league campaign with another industrious performance in the Kilkenny engine room.
10. Martin Keoghan (Kilkenny)
One of the newcomers that have really caught the eye throughout the Cats' successful campaign.
11. TJ Reid (Kilkenny)
Few could argue with the clinical Ballyhale Shamrocks clubman's selection as 'man-of-the-match' after his 15-point contribution.
12. John Donnelly (Kilkenny)
Found the target with two points in his side's six-point success and Kilkenny supporters will be hoping there's more of the same to come in the championship.
13. Walter Walsh (Kilkenny)
Like many of his team-mates, Walsh was relatively quiet in the opening period but his goal 30 seconds after the restart laid the foundations for an impressive second-half showing.
14. Jason Forde (Tipperary)
No finger of blame for Tipp's defeat can be pointed in the direction of Forde who was left to plough a lone furrow up front at times.
15. John McGrath (Tipperary)
McGrath was one of the few Premier County players to offer some support to Forde.
