Louth: Congratulations to O'Connells player Niall Conlon who is part of the Louth Senior team at the moment. He came on as the sub in the county's first game of the season against Longford in the O'Byrne Cup and started the second game against Kildare and was one of the scorers in the victory over the Lilywhites.  

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 10th January at 8.00pm, jackpot €2,400 in 48 numbers. 

Blitzs: To begin the 2018 season for U7/U8 and U9/U10 Louth GAA Coaching and Games are organising blitzes in DkIT Sport for February and March on Saturday mornings. Time: (2 X 45minute slots), 10.00am to 10.45am for U7/U8s, 10.45am to 11.30am for U9/U10s Games: 3 teams per pitch. Each team will play 2 matches (1 bye), (7 a side for U7/U8), (6 a side for U9/U10). Can all clubs that are interested in entering teams let me know as soon as possible how many teams and what age group? We have 8 pitches booked and can accommodate 24 teams at each time slot. Clubs are asked to contribute €80 to help cover costs of hiring the facility for the 8 weeks. Saturday Dates: 1. February 3rd, 2. February 10th, 3. February 17th, 4. February 24th, 5. March 3rd, 6. Workshops: Louth GAA C&G's Coaching & Games Conference 2018 will take Place on Saturday 20th January in The Louth GAA Centre of Excellence. ALL CLUBS SHOULD BE REPRESENTED.                                            Venue: Louth GAA Centre of Excellence, Darver, Readypenny, Co. Louth                                                            Cost: Individual Tickets @ €10 pp. Group Ticket - 6 for the Price of 5 @ €50. Speakers on the day include Paul Clarke, John Divilly, Performa Sports, Pete McGrath & Declan Mussen and a question and answer session with all the coaches. Féile 2018: You are invited to attend a meeting of the Hosting Club Meeting/Presentation Night that will be held on Thursday 25th January 2018 in Carrickdale Hotel. Registration from 6.45pm, meeting begins at 7.15pm. People required at this meeting are as follows: 1. Appointed Club Féile Co-Ordinator, 2. Club Juvenile Committee Chairperson, 3. Club Juvenile Committee Secretary. All the details that a club needs to know regarding hosting a visiting team and playing in Féile Peile 2018 will be discussed on this night.
