Quarterfinal pairings known

Following the last round of group games, the knockout stages of the Longford senior football championship are now known.
The quarterfinals will be played over two weekends with all games at Glennon Bros Pearse Park, starting on Saturday, August 26th with the much anticipated meeting of defending champions Mullinalaghta St Columba's and Killoe Emmet Og.
On Sunday, 27th, Dromard meet their old rivals Clonguish in another clash that is set to go down to the wire.
The following week sees the other two quarterfinals being played as Ballymahon face Mostrim on Saturday, September 2nd and the following day, September 3rd, Colmcille take on Abbeylara.
The semi-final pairings are also known as the winners of Mullinalaghta or Killoe take on Dromard or Clonguish, while Ballymahon or Mostrim take on Colmcille or Abbeylara.
